I am writing this from a small village in Nepal, the land of geographical and cultural diversity.

I used to work in India however lately I have been trying to help the kids here with computers in general and encouraging them to code. I believe in the cause and I feel that being acquainted with programming at this stage will help them choose their path wisely and help in the development of the local community in whatever way possible.

The culture here is for males/husbands to go abroad and work any non-professional job they get just to support their families. The local economy doesn't provide them with enough to support their families or their kids education. This is a small way of teaching the local kids so that one day they can work from here and contribute to local as well as global economy.
